Mycelium Sculpture

The Power of Identity is a sculpture that captures the essence of a creature from an unknown world. Its enigmatic form and intricate details make it a fascinating and evocative work of art.

It is a work that inspires a deep analysis of the radical transformation that marked the advent of Sapiens. This epochal change, in my opinion, arose from a mental revolution: man began to perceive himself as an active protagonist of the world. This new awareness laid the foundations for the birth of more cohesive societies and for the development of symbolic and religious systems focused on the exaltation of the human species. The "cult of skulls", with the preservation of ancestral relics as a symbol of memory and continuity, is an emblematic example.

Starting from this reflection, I would like to share through my art a critical vision of the historical period we are living in. I question the perception that the human being has of himself and of others, in an era marked by profound contradictions and global challenges. Like Hamlet, I find myself facing a dilemma: to be or not to be, to act or not to act, to believe or to doubt.
As my art becomes the stage of this existential doubt, a place where certainties waver and questions multiply, so my work wants to be a mirror through which to observe and interpret our humanity, with its lights and shadows.
